1. You can use any prepaid card (visa, Amex gift cards etc) online, as long as the website accepts credit and debit cards.

   However, you first need to register the prepaid gift card with the card issuer (add your name and billing address to the card). Then when you shop online, complete the name and address with the same name and billing address you provided the gift card issuer when you registered the card. That way, they will be able to match your name and billing address with the one on file for the gift card, just like they do for credit cards.
