What type of gift card do you most like to receive?

1. If you are giving out a gift card for a specific city, make sure the card can be used in that area. For example, I live on the south coast of Oregon. We have 1 Starbucks (in the hospital), few major retailers (no Target, no Home Depot or Lowes, no Office Depot, no Olive Garden or similar restaurants, no Borders or Dalton bookstores). So getting a gift card from one of these vendors wouldn't attract many people to participate in the promotion.

   What we do have (so would be more likely in 'any' city) – Walmart, Kmart, JC Penney, McDonalds. Another option is a card that can be used online – these can be used anyplace in the US.

   My personal favorite card – Either a American Express, DiscoverCard, JCPenny or Amazon giftcard.

3. Amazon. That is a popular one because you can buy so many different things on Amazon.

4. Gift cards to Chili's "hit the spot" for me.

5. American Express – it can be used at multiple stores so the winner gets to choose what to spend it on.

6. chilis! chilis! chilis!…..oh and did i say….. chilis!?!…..yeah i love this place….its my favorite restaurant

7. Old Navy

8. It should be left general. Try an American Express gift card – that way, they can treat themselves to something nice.
